In Bhutan, the King has decided to abdicate and hold multiparty elections. This is the way it's supposed to happen: People in power realizing that a new era has dawned and graciously stepping down of their own accord. Bhutan is one of the most isolated and least developed nations in the world, but surveys show that the country is also one of the happiest.
