Captcha blues
Is it just me, or are the anti-spam captcha thingamajigs getting impossible to decipher. I can't post comments on my blog due to my failure to read the following:
Any ideas on what it could be? I've tried srnenita and smenita. Am I missing something? (Of course, if you get the same captcha and are wrong, you'll never be able to comment...quite a catch-22 situation, eh?)
I can't remember if my blogger has that turned on, but I never understand why they need more than about 3 characters anyway, how many spamming systems actually bother to try reading the letters?
I enter the wrong letters all the time with comments. I think I have posted something I haven't. Drives me nuts. And it sure looks like smenita to me as well but again this happens all the time. Woman Mile 0
I was trying to say that it looked like smenita to me, too, and then what captcha do I get? Yeah, smenita. I don't know what that's all about, but I now officially hate captcha.
Hilarious. Perhaps the internet has finally woken up and become sentient (with a nasty sense of humor). Smenita must be a funny curse word in some Basque dialect. I'd suggest that we incorporate it into our internet lingo (but the word is so smenita hard to pronounce.)
