Korean dreams

CNN tonight had a short piece on how the U.S. is falling way behind South Korea and other countries in terms of its internet infrastructure. Anyone familiar with the lightning-swift efficiency of the internet elsewhere can attest to the fact that this is clearly the case. As important as the internet has become to everyday work and international commerce, I find it odd that the U.S. has failed to invest even a modest amount of money. This is one area where a Gore victory in 2000 would have probably made a world of difference.

I'm guessing you could name a lot more than one, Karlo. ;)

I don't even want to travel to the US to see my folks until the sweet neo-cons are in prison... or at least outside of the Beltway.

Prison is definitely where they belong.

Yeah since Gore invented the internet and all.

Didn't he invent at least one of the internets?
