Netiquette in the blogosphere
I need to listen to more talk radio. Rox Populi has nominated me as one of the most polite political bloggers! Can someone speak up for me here? Politeness on a political blog is like the kiss of death!
"Most polite political blogger" sounds like the sort of back handed compliment it would be to be nominated for the "Mickey Kaus Award for Excellence."
But I think in this case, perhaps someone recognized that you usually go for reasoned discourse at times when many of the rest of us just begin to curse. :>
But what of the sarcasm? The shrubsized smirk constantly hovering about my words? The sarcastic innuendoes? The name-calling? Has all this been for nought?
Well, subtlely and sarcasm is often lost on the masses. But we appreciate it, Karlo! ;)
BTW, my apologies, your link from my site (Cut to the Chase) was hidden by a missing character. I finally got some housekeeping done yesterday so you're visible again. You're far too excellent a resource to hide by typo.
Damn It! I never thought my alterations would be discovered so quickly! Whatever will my Obersturmfuhrer say? LOL
Seriously, Karlo, you usually present your ideas in a way that invites discussion...much better than the usual Hyperbolic Ravings and conspiracy theorys so prevalent on the left. It's refreshing to have a debate, and not a lynching party.

Well you could tell him to go f**k himself :-)
Really? We're allowed to say stuff like that? I always figured someone would call the blogosphere police if I said something like that...
I've been dropped from the nomination. Just like that. It's so fuckin' unfair!

A missing character, eh? I think it's a Bush conspiracy to prevent my firey revolutionary ideas from reaching the masses!

Perhaps, but discussions somehow aren't ever quite as exciting as a good lynching.
